Weight & Volume update in pack spec

Hi All,

 

We have updated new weight and volume for products in /SCWM/MAT1  but still these new values are not updated in corresponding pack spec .

This results in wrong weight and volume in Pick WT . I can see creating second version of pack spec and clicking on calculate weight/vol button will update the values correctly .


Is there any other way where we can recalculate the weight in all packspec  using update program ?

Is it that every time we update weight in material master we will have to recalculate the weight again in packspec?

LS10 Storage bin xxx in storage type xxx does not exist

Hello,

 

When trasfering from one storage bin to a newly created storage bin, I have the following error message.

 

Storage bin xxx in storage type xxx does not exist (check your entry).

 

I have defined a range of new storage bins stracture using tcode LS10 but these are not visible in table LAGP. The same was created in our sandbox some time ago which is working fine.

 

 

Any idea.

EWM VAS Questions

Hi Gurus,

 

There are 2 questions on EWM VAS.

1. How we can order the required AUX material when we raise the sales order before the VAS activity start in EWM? Like labelling, I need to raise an Purchase order to label supplier for my specific sales order before I pick my FG and apply the label. As during VAS - labelling, I need to consume the label, and we have to purchase the label from external supply within a lead time.

 

2. How we can bill the VAS service to customer? How's the EWM VAS links to the pricing and billing of sales order?

Moving HUs to EWM storage location - not working

Hi experts,

 

small problem with big impact at the end...

 

I goods receipt an inbound delivery against a non-EWM storage location, it's packed, so I have a few HUs now lying in the storage location.

 

Next step - I want to move these HUs to EWM related storage location.


Seems to be easy - VLMOVE, entering 0006 (311 movement type), my HU, create an inbound delivery. Perfect, the delivery is ditributed to EWM.

 

Okay, now I checked which funtion I can use - found  GN_DELIVERY_CREATE.

 

So I checked VLMOVE, how the tables are filled and so on, at the end I have now a program that is filling the tables exactly as VLMOVE, also LIKP/LIPS are looking the same after executing.

 

Also when I check the with VL33N, system says that the dnote is distributed to external WMS and can't be changed.

 

Perfect!

 

So I check EWM - nothing! Nothjing in the queue (SMQ2), no inbound delviery (notification) in /n/scwm/prdi, absolutly nothing!

 

Result - I have an inbound delivery in ERP system which can't be chaged, I have stocked I can't touch as ith's "assigned" to a movement and I can't do something with the stock in EWM as it's not there.

 

What might be the problem here? LIKP/LIPS are the same (VLMOVE, programmed), dnote is distritubed? I'm sooo confused at the moment.

Error M7776 - Empty bins

Hello,

We have a problem with inventory.

We had some empty bins and we didnt marked them as empty in the inventory, so an inventory error appeared in the bins master data (LS02N).

He have corrected them modifying the inventory and entering again the bins with the empty flag activated.

The bins are now correct and the inventory error does not appear in LS03N but when we try to post the inventory differences ( that must be 0 because the bins were empty before and after the change), the following error appears:

 

M7776 Difference amount of phys. inv. items is too high.

 

Why does this error appear?

How to CIF Organization Structure from ECC to EWM?

Hi,

 

 

 

I have CIF set-up for data transfer from ECC system to EWM system. I want to transfer all the "Plants" (its business partners as well) to EWM via CIF. Can I transfer only PLANT data through CFM1/CFM2 transaction? If yes, what are the fields I have to select to transfer all the plants in CFM1? Please guide how to transfer this organization structure data using CIF.

PI - send difference to a different bin

Hi all,

 

I created a Physical Inventory for a specific bin that has one HU with 100 KG. Lets say that I found only 5 KG and registered the count. When i post the difference in the transaction /SCWM/PI_PROCESS, the system updates EWM and removes 5 KG from the bin.

 

Instead of removing the quantity, is there any possibility to transfer this quantity to another bin like 999 PI document?

silly question, want to understand from process point of view.

 

why do we need a separate VAS order document. Activities which are being performed are from work center.

we can make the steps without VAS order number.What is the significance of creating VAS order.

any additional consumption - captured from this. If yes where do we maintain the settings ?

Handing unit created during the VAS-Repack function not passing back to ECC

Hi There,

 

I have an inbound VAS order, ASN came without HU detail, we packed the product to HU when we execute the VAS order.

We can see the HU in EWM warehouse monitor, but we can't see it in ECC,

 

Any idea?

EWM training courses: offline vs. online?

Dear experts,

 

I was looking for some training in EWM area and I've found 2 interesting possibilities:

 

The first one is a bunch of offline courses, and the second one is an online training.

 

Due to prices and more flexibility I'd like to do these online courses.

 

Do someone have had any experience with these online courses? Are their good? Can they replace they offline courses?

 

I'd appreciate any advice.

9.2 Consumption

Hello,

 

I'm trying to process a PMR that contains:

  • Recieving product (finished good),
  • Component 1 (semi-finished product)
  • Component 2 (semi-finished product in a silo/tank)
  • Component 1 is set up as:

          St. Method:         3 Single-Order Staging        

          Item Category:   CMP  Component

          Item Type: PCSO Single Order Parts

  • Component 2

          St. Method: Not Relevant for Staging

          Item Category:   CMP  Component

          Item Type:          PCCO Cross Order Parts

If I try to stage, only component 1(product P10.3302) is creating WT for staging (this is ok).

After that, I want to consume using NWBC Tcode for consumption, I put the production order, it is only showing to consume component 1

 

How should I consume the component that is in the SIli/Tank? (product WC_9300798)

 

I have also tried to GR before consuming, but component 2 (product WC_9300798)  is not visible in any consumption transaction

 

Am I missing any master data requirements for consumption?

Process Appointments Tab in DAS not displaying the appointments

I am working with SAP Dock Appointment Scheduling. After creating an appointment in the Create Appointment Tab in the NWBC, the created appointment is not reflected in the Process Appointments Tab.

Packing_status_Issue

Hi,

 

We are facing the following issue with the scrapping scenario:

 

Picking was totally done so picking status was in "Completed" but packing status stays in "Not completed".

Cancel pick of the delivery was done but even after that packing status is "Partially completed".

So delivery cannot be processed further more.

 

Looking for the root cause of the issue.

BAdI /SCWM/EX_ERP_MAPOUT_OD_CHANGE does not trigger during Reversal of Goods Issue

Hi,

 

My requirement is to modify the Posting date of Goods Issue Reversal in EWM that is sent to ECC system. Both GI and GI Reversal are done using the transaction /SCWM/PRDO.

 

SAP has provided the BAdI /SCWM/EX_ERP_MAPOUT_OD_CHANGE (Method MAPOUT) to modify the data being sent to ECC system. Strangely, the BAdI does not trigger during GI reversal of an Outbound Delivery.

 

During reversal of GI for an Outbound Delivery, EWM system remotely calls the ECC Function Module BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE. This RFC call happens in method SEND_BAPI of class /SCWM/CL_MAPOUT_OD_CHANGE. Before this Function Module is called, method CREATE_BAPI of the same class is called, where the BAdI /SCWM/CL_MAPOUT_OD_CHANGE is called at last. But, due to the logic between lines # 143 and 154, this BAdI does not trigger.

For GI Reversal, the ELSEIF condition is true, and due to the RETURN statement in line # 153, no subsequent lines of code in this method are processed.

 

Has anyone faced a similar issue? How can I override this restriction? Any help is appreciated.

SAP PCO and non SAP WM systems

Hi Gurus!

Do you know if SAP PCO only works with SAP EWM?

I know it's a part of Plant Connectivity System,  but do you know if it can be connected to another Warehouse system different from SAP?

Material Master Background JOB - Create/Change

Hello Experts,

 

My from business end lot of request comes to create/ change  the master data in EWM from ERP.

 

We do CFM1 and CFM2 everytime for creation/change in master data .

 

So is there any standard program to automate this process,which can create/change  master data in EWM automatically ?
