Create Batch through RF in EWM

Hi Gurus ,

 

I have a requirement where product is batch managed with SLED maintained in ECC. This product will come to EWM without batch.


Now in EWM on RF if I need to receive the products , what option can I use where the batch can be created and GR can be done.


Batch created in  EWM should be able to flow back into ECC as well. We have a option in RF but it works only with HU and with external batch number.


We need internal batch assignment like we can do from T-code /SCWM/PRDI create batch button.


Please let me know in case you need more input from my side.

Update APO tables in EWM system

Hello,

 

Resource related data (master data) needs to be updated in EWM system.

 

Below is the list of tables in EWM system:

 

/SAPAPO/RES_HEAD

/SAPAPO/RES_INTR               

/SAPAPO/RES_INTV

/SAPAPO/TIMEMOD     

/SAPAPO/TIMEINT                

/SAPAPO/BREAKMOD               

/SAPAPO/RATEMOD

 

What is the standard way to perform this ?

 

I want to populate the APO data into EWM system for this Tables.

GR Mode control at Business system Level

Dear All

We have requirement to have immediate GR postings for some warehouses and for other warehouses  GR at the end of putaway process( Switch 1).

Since this GR mode control is at Business system level , is there a possibility of having 2 different business systems for differnt warehouses.

Carton Putaway- Distributed putaway in multiple bins

Dear All

 

Is there a  solution/way of doing putway of carton Handling units  by  scanning the source Pallet HU.. It is sort of on the fly putaway of cartons from the pallet  without seperate deconsolidation.

Eg: A pallet is received with around 20 cartons and the complete pallet will be moved and cartons are done with distributive putaway in 5 bins each of 4  cartons capacity

Plan  is to not to take it to deconsolidation station and at the same time retain/leverage on  the source Pallet identification .

Auto Plant to Plant transfer as part of putaway process

Dear All

We have multiple manufacturing plants providng us the inbound delivery with nested HU details , These are ECC plants and we have taken those IBD's  directly in EWM managed Warehouse.

 

We would like to have a warehouse specific plant to simplify the sales /outbound cycle thereby a single plant will always be entered in the sales order

Preferrably we would like to post the GR in the interim area for the manufacturing plant and close the loop , later while doing the putaway system shall change the plant/PED similar to the one  we have with regards to  Multiple SLOC's  ( ROD and AFS) based on storage type availabiltiy group mandatory.

 

Is there a better process for handling this requirement  seamlessly.

Multiple Storage Locations and Plants into same Physical stocks

Hi Everyone,

 

We are using ECC 6.0 EHP5 with IM for warehouse.

We are in blueprint phase for a WM (not eWM) roll out and have hit a challenge.

 

Current Physical Structure:

 

One warehouse

Pick Faces

Bulk Storage

 

Current Logical Structure:

 

Plant A > SLOC 1

Plant B > SLOC 1 | SLOC 2 | SLOC 3

 

 

Purchase orders buy the stock into specific logical plant / sloc

Sales orders despatch stock from specific logical plant/sloc

We logically need to separate the stock into specific SLOC, this is due to MRP and logical segregation reasons

 

HOWEVER All stock of same material is physically mixed together, irrespective of SLOC/ Plant

example:

 

Material 1001 Total stock = 1000 PC

400 PC Plant A | SLOC1

100 PC Plant B | SLOC2

500 PC Plant B | SLOC3


In WM would face a challenge of inefficient replenishment and picking, due to the logical structures.



To be clear, we do not care which Plant/Sloc the stock is picked from, because everything is physically mixed then it can be a combination.

Due to space constraints we cannot physically separate stock.



QUESTION -  Can eWM overcome this limitation i.e. we can assign multiple s.locs from the same plant into the same warehouse and not face issues with picking/replenishment?

Inbound Delivery created but not sent to SCM

Hi Experts,

 

I created PO and Inbound delivery, also i got a message after saving inbound delivery as sent to WMS

But in SCM i did not find any when i check /n/scwm/prdi

 

Please explain possible reasons with config path.

Move Stocks form Interim Storage Type to Fixed bins ( system suggest bins )

Hi,

 

I have a stocks in interim storage type with dynamic bins. My requirement is move the stocks from the interim storage type to fixed bins. For allocating bins I must check the storage type search, storage section search, maximum weight and capacity of the bin all the master data related things and allocate the stocks.

 

I know to create the TO from Interim Storage Type to Fixed Bins using the LT01. Here I'm face the problem is initially I don't know the capacity of the bins, so I can't initially enter the quantity for creating the TO in LT01. But the LT01 was suggested the destination bin based on all the master data checks.

 

Kindly suggest the way how to I achieve this. I don't want to create the TR after based on the TR creating the TO.

i am going to create warehouse task the following error is throwing

 

Maintain the number range interval /SCWM/TO for warehouse tasks

Message no. /SCWM/L3040

 

But i have maintained number ranges for the same

pls find the below number range

 

I have check log in SLG1 the error is as follows.

 

Please tell me how to solve the issues.

Goods receipt with partial acceptance and rejection for PO with /SCWM/QINSP in EWM

Hi Experts,


I am running a scenario with QM in EWM and when I take usage decision with partial acceptance and partial rejection in /SCWM/QINSP following things happen. We posted GR for 5 nos. and took usage decision of 3 nos. acceptance and 2 nos. rejection in EWM.

 

1.System is forcing to enter exception code

2.Warehouse task created in wrong quantities

3.UOM for acceptance quantity is alternate UOM.

4.The update of usage decision is sent to ECC and it goes in error in queue with error e.g."PU Ordered quantity exceeded by 3,175 GL : 1016551".

 

Please let us know if you have worked with this scenario and it worked for you. If there is SAP note please let me know.

hi guys,

 

I create a inbound delivery through a ECC bapi, when it is transferred back to EWM,

i made enhancements to fill the batch number filed and production date. batch number is filled correctly,but the production date is empty.

if i update the production date of the delivery in ECC, after it is transferred, in EWM i see the date is filled but the batch number is empty,

it seems these two fileds can not have value at the same time.but at the frontend it can be filled at the same time, which makes me very confused.

could anyone help me solving this?

Putaway HU creation using 0PAL

I am wondering whether 0PAL would automatically create Putaway HU's as part of palletization similar to 0IBD that  does the packing in the inbound delivery .

Any help in this highly appreciated

Putaway Strategy error

Dear experts,

 

I have following situation in my storage type:

 

Unbenannt.JPG

 

So as you see, 5 bins are in the storage. Every storage has 2 logical positions and as you see there one HU in every bin.

But the second logical position is actually free, but when I try to create a WT the system cannot find the storage bin...

 

My Customizing looks follwing:

Sorry for many screenshots, but I still not understand why the HU cannot be putted in the second free logical positions of the storage.

Can I have ERP QM with EWM wihout QIE

Hi There,

 

I am trying to understanding how much configuration we need to do if I want to retain my ERP QM function while I am implementing the EWM standalone system.

 

do I still need to go through below configuration for the QIE integration with ERP QM?  It will be great that if someone can give a standard process flow if I want to use ERP QM as my quality managemnet system?

Door status is not changed

I am facing error while TU movement in yard.System is not allowing me yard movement as Door status is active.

As door status is active mode system is not allowing me to confirm any other TU to that door. any one come across with this situation and how can be resolved.

Partner Role Creation in EWM for Outbound delivery

Dear Gurus,

 

 

In Transaction /SCWM/PRDO , under tab "Partner" I need to add another partner

Role (for the delivery) which does not exist in ECC.

 

 

 

 

When I click on Create button , a popup appears for entering Partner Role

Here I assign my custom Partner Role(Created locally in EWM).

 

 

 

it gives a error " Creation of Prtner Role XXXXX  not allowed."

 

 

Is there any way to assign the Partner ROLE here.

Report to get all the outstanding inbound documents (include EGR)

Hi EWM Experts,

 

Is warehouse monitor the only report to find out all the outstanding or planned inbound documents, like I need to know how many inbounds I need to perform in future one week for my resource planning?

 

And if it will covers the EGR? According to the process, when the vendor confirm back the delivery date and delivery qty. we expect the purchasing officer to create the EGR with reference to the PO. And warehouse operator/Admin should pick up this EGR and create&pack the inbound delivery when truck arrives.

Due to the inbound delivery only been created when truck arrives, May I know how many EGR I need to manage in future one week, I guess warehouse monitor can't give me the ability, right? Which report I should use and if there is a report to merge both?
