capacity check method 4

Hi All,

 

I have set capacity check as 4 for my storage type 100.

I have two materials with SAME FIXED BIN

 

I have mentioned minimum and maximum quantity for both materials in material master:

 

Material A: Min qty 100 Max Qty 1500

Material B : Min qty 50 Max Qty 500

 

Fixed Bin is 1-00-01 for which maximum bin capacity is 2000.

 

So capacity usage i have calculated and maintained in wm1 view as follows

 

for material A = 2000/1500= 1.33 and for material B = 2000/500 = 4

 

when i am creating a single TO with 2 line items by using this two materials system should not allow create TO of quantity greater than 1500 for material A and quantity greater than 500 for material B

 

Results:

 

It is Ok for first material but for material B system is not even allowing to create TO for 500 qty.

 

PLEASE REVERT in case of any clarification needed.


Reversal of GR/ Post 102 Movement after Final Putaway

Hi Gurus,

 

Is there a way we can reverse a GR posting (101) / post 102 movement after Final Putaway i.e Creation of Putaway Warehouse Tasks -> Confimation of the Putaway warehouse tasks.

 

I have looked at the below options:

 

1. Use MIGO, Cancellation of 101 Material Document -  FAIL

2. Use MBRL for Return Delivery - FAIL

3. Use of MIGO, 122 Movement - FAIL

4. Delay the Confirmation of Warehouse Tasks by setting Some Delay post clicking on Confirm -  To be Tested

5. Return PO - NOT APPLICABLE (As product is not being returned and 102 Movement Posting is what is desired )

 

kindly let me know if any options are available !

ECC to SCM Vendor Master Transfer Issue

Hi,

 

I am trying to transfer newly created vendor master from SAP ECC to SCM. I have created Integration model (T-code:CFM1) for just one vendor and selected Create Loc./BP = 2 (Create Both). After activating Integration model (t-code: CFM2) outbound queue is failing. It's giving error "Internal error in RFCG, US. RFC: Connection error". Attaching snap.

Please note that, I was successfully able to transfer product master from SAP ECC to SCM without any issues. I also tested RFC connecting between both system and it's working.

 

Any help/suggestion ?

What Business functions required for for LE-WM stock upload in SCM 9.1

Hi All

 

I am trying to upload stocks from LE-WM using transaction /n/SCWM/MIG_STOCK but ending up with an error "Interface was called incorrectly /SCMB/MDL_EXTPROD_READ & ERP RFC destination & packaging material".

 

Here I have SUs in my existing WM system and I am trying to pull it to EWM system as HUs.

 

Before doing this, I have already migrated materials and storage bins with same settings as that of WM system.

 

As for as I know, my interface is set properly as I can see all other things like deliveries, CIF etc working fine across the ERP and EWM systems.

 

I can see one Business function SCM_EWM_USAB_IMPL_1 is mandatority for this process as per SAP help for SCM 7.0; But same is not required if you are using SCM 9.1.

 

I did not get any SAP note over this process in service market place.

 

Would you please help me in this area.

Wave without Outbound delivery reference

Dear Gurus,

 

 

I need to trigger wave during my process.

Process steps are as below :

 

 

1. Bin to Bin transfer will be triggered from Storage type ST-A to

   Storage type ST-B

2. Transfer of the Stock should happen with respect to the Wave.

3. Is it possible to trigger the wave creation for Bin to Bin transfer?/or for replenishment ?

 

 

----------------------------------------

 

 

There is another requirement which can be described as below:

 

 

1. Bin to Bin transfer will be triggered from Storage type ST-A to

   Storage type ST-B

2. Stock will be moved to Storage type ST-B.

3. Once Stock is available in Storage type ST-B , trigger a wave generation.

   Can we create wave without any reference.

4. Wave generation will have following output:

 

 

  a.Create picking task from Storage type ST-B for the moved stock(From ST-A)

  b.Create Pick HU for moved Stock (From ST-A)

  c.Create HU warehouse task for moving HU from its work center to

   Storage type ST-B.

Create dummy Outbound delivery order & Outbound delivery in EWM

Dear Gurus ,

 

Please suggest if following is possible in EWM and does not have any impact on ERP system :

 

1. On click of a button create ODO

2. Assign multiple components to this ODO

3. Assign Wave and release the wave

4. Once task is created and confirmed .

5. Should be able to mark the ODO for deletion

6. Delete the ODO/OD in EWM

 

During all these steps no communication should happen to ERP.

PPF: automatically Putaway WT creation after distribution of the inbound delivery from ERP

Dear Experts,

 

I'm trying to test the PPF in order to create a putaway WT for an inbound delivery in EWM-System directly after its distribution from the ERP-System.

 

1. I’ve chosen the action profile (PDI_01) and did an assignment to the doc type PDI

 

2. I’ve created the determination procedure to the action profile:

3. I’ve created a condition records:

After this I try to disribute an inbound delivery from ERP to EWM, but as after distribution as after saving of the inboun delivery nothing happens.

 

Could you, guys, give some hits, what I missed and where I should define the whrehouse process type for the putaway WT?

PPF: condition is not fulfilled

Dear experts,

 

in my test scenario I try to create an pick WT when the outbound delivery order will be created in EWM (GM Status: Not Started)

I determinated the action profile /SCWM/PDO_02 for Doc.Type OUTB/PDO:

The action for creation of the WT is also active:

I have the single condition for this action for the OUTB/PDO:

So everything seems good to me, but when I chek the log I see folowing:

Could someone give me any tipp why this condition is not fulfilled? What did I wrong?

Status of Outbound Delivery in case of batch split

Hi All,

 

I have a query regarding the status updation of outbound delivery in case of a batch split.

 

I have a delivery with 10 qty of batch managed material and is distributed from ERP to EWM. As per standard SAP, the following 2 options exist to carry out a batch split in EWM

 

1. Create batch sub items in the Outbound delivery Order

2. To adopt quantities pertaining to multiple batches during WT creation from the 'Stock can be removed' tab.

 

We are using the second option as per business requirement. The process is working fine if i create & confirm multiple WT's at one shot i.e in this case i created one WT for 5 qty with batch-1 & one more WT for balance 5 qty with batch-2 & confirmed both the tasks. System created 2 batch sub items automatically when WT's are confirmed & the header status of 'picking' got updated as 'completed'.

 

However the problem is when i create only 1 WT for partial quantity. For eg. in this case i created onle WT for 5 qty of batch-1 & confirmed the task. System created 1 batch sub item for 5 qty & also updated the 'picking' status in header to completed. My understanding is that since entire delivery quantity is yet to be picked, the picking status at header must be 'partially completed' & not 'completed'.

 

I have checked the status profile & have status types DER & DPI active. Does this require any config in the status profile OR Is there any other way in which i can achieve this functionality ( i.e. Header status must be 'partially completed' untill entire delivery quantity is picked.)

 

Would be glad if you can share your thoughts on this.

Hi Experts,

 

I am completely new to EWM and having a requirement which I searched in google without any success so I am asking here. Hope this is the right place.

 

I want to implement a logic in transaction /SCWM/ADPROD during warehouse task creation such that based on some HU and Product i need to cancel the warehouse task creation, for this i need some details such as any exit or badi available for doing the same.

 

Please provide your valuable thoughts.

Unnecessary print of list output du ring EWM process

Hello All,

 

Though this is a technical question it is happening when performing EWM process so I am asking this question here.

 

There are so many prints are creating  in user's printer which is not necessary.

 

<please check the print in the attachment>

 

The print  is coming from  a list program RSTRFCIC  which when i checked is related to Queues.

 

However for this an output request is being created and printouts are being piled up near user's printer.

 

Need to avoid this. Can anyone please let me know why this is happening? How we can avoid this?

 

Note: we recently upgrated to EWM 9.1 version.

what is principle of TR convert to TO ?

I Met a issue about the TR convert to TO. In our system, i found there has three conditions.

1. TR quantity: 30.  Material Stock quantity: 30 + 25.

After scan the KANBAN, it will generate a 30 quantity TO.

2. TR quantity:30 .  Material Stock quantity: 25 + 20.

After scan the KANBAN, it will generate a 30 quantity TO.

3. TR quantity:30 .  Material Stock quantity: 20.

After scan the KANBA, it doesn’t generate TO. But through the program RLAUTA10 it will generate a 20 quantity TO.

 

But the customer doesn't want this 20 quantity TO. They want a 30 quantity TO.

 

So how to generate a TO with TR quantity??

Classification not flowing to EWM (or not correct linked?)

Hi experts,

 

trying to setup a new EWM system here.

 

I learned that it's not possible to use the baisc data from ERP, I hjave to create a class with the values I need (at the moment I'm using LOBM_LICHA, vendor batch).

 

This class has to be assigned to batch (ERP, MSC1N), needs to have a organizatino level (in my case W), and the characteristics also needs to be W (Org. Area).

 

I have to CIF the classes and classifications, working fine CL03 is showing the class correctly.

 

Next step is cifing the material, after that (second step) I cif the batches.

 

No problems, if I check table AUSP in EWM I can see the vendor batch.

 

But when I open the batch in EWM (/SCWM/WM_BATCH_MAINT) I can't see my classification - message "No Classification possible for the Object Data".

 

What am I missing? Any ideas?

Wrong assignment of PSA to Production Material Request

Dear Experts,

 

I do tests of the material staging for the manufacturing process in EWM 9.2.

 

My material to be manufactured contains 3 parts. The BOM of each part contains an assignment to an PSA:

After performing of the material staging for the manufacturing order in ERP system I get an Production Material Request in EWM but with totally wrong PSA inside:

Even I did the necessary configurations/assignments in EWM:

As you see there is no entry with PSA-002 /0001 from Production Material Request...

 

Could you guys give me any hint for this case? Have I forgotten to set something in ERP?

Avoid outbound delivery split creation during GI

Hi guys,

 

Every time we perform a GI in /SCWM/PRDO for a partial picking, the system creates a delivery split, leaving the rest for the original delivery.

I want to avoid the delivery split! The operators have a procedure to check the warehouse tasks before the GI, but sometimes they forget to check and they post the GI with open quantity.

 

For this reason I would like to know; if there is a way to block the GI when there are items with open quantities?

How to move material stock from HU to HU

Dear experts,

 

I have two HUs. Both of them have a material inside.

 

When I'm trying to create an product wharehouse task in term to move the full content from the HU 1 to the HU 2, the HU 1 will also be packed into the HU 2, even I'm expecting that one empty HU and one HU with materials will be there after this process.

 

What could be wrong at this process?

Could not determine subsequent stock type to F1

I am getting the error in the title after "Rejecting" a product in the IC (Quality Inspection) work center. There is also a warning that I recived along with the error. I have attached a screenshot of the error.

 

I can accept a product in QI without issue, it is when I attempt to reject that i get this error.

 

Can anyone help me on this...?

Inbound Delivery xxx could not be distributed_Message No VL589

Hello Experts,

 

I am working on a EWM scenario in an centralized system. I have done all configuration for ECC and EWM. Master data has been successfully transmitted and supply chain unit is created and maintained with SCU hierarchy, assigned to warehouse. Business partner maintained. While saving inbound delivery in system I am getting the message inbound delivery cannot be distributed. I have checked in VL32N -->Edit-->check distribution document and it tells me delivery can be successfully distributed, so I assume ECC settings should be fine, but there is no failed Queue in SMQ1/SMQ2.I have also reviewed notes 1292717,1247701,1239007,123119  and they do not address my problem. One more thing I wish to mention is, its a sand box where there is no default configuration available(like standard warehouse ,storage types etc).

 

Please throw some light in areas which could be checked to fix the issue.
