VLMOVE Create Inbound Issue - Inbound & HU Stuck

VLMOVE was made with movement type 305 to complete a plant to plant move using the 'Create Inbound' instead of 'Post' by mistake.

The HU is now in a status 'HU with inventory mgmt scheduled for other HU storage loc'.

- The inbound can't be unpacked: states 'HU is in transit >> Cannot be changed',

- The inbound can't be received: states 'Storage unit XXXX  does not exist'

- The inbound can't be deleted: states 'Delivery still contains HU's'

- The HU can't be deleted: states 'Processing of HUs for selected objects not possible'.

- MIGO GR: states 'Inbound does not contain any selectable items'.

- HUCANC: states 'HU XXXX is assigned to a delivery - can't reverse material doc.
Any thoughts how to delete the HU or inbound?

Issue Language EWM 9.00

Hello, i have an issue in EWM 9.00 recently i installed NW 7.31 and apply all EWM ADDONs, i need all de system in ES(spanish) language, actually all system already have this language but all tx and programs sued by SCMEWM 900 components are in english.

 

I have both languages installed, and system language = S / second = E, in profile parameters, the installation note of EWM said all languages are included in SP01 of this aplication but i can not activate this.

 

 

Help!

EWM Goods Movement Bapis

Hi,

 

If we are going to use EWM instead of WM, can I still use the same BAPIs to trigger Goods Movements?

or do I need to use other BAPIs?

EWM Packaging Specification Query

Hi Friends

 

I need your help to clear my understanding about the Packaging specification

 

From help I know , in this master data we can define the packaging requirements of a product (single level or nested) and further this data can called in different processes using condition technique. While looking into the system , I can see different condition types availble for Inbound , palletization and outbound , warehouse task

 

I created a single level specification where I specified 100 EA of a product will be packed in a packaging material. I defined  OPAL, OIBD and OWHT condition record in the packaging specification with Supply unit and product details.

 

Now if I create an ID of 130 EA.

Will system create two HUs (100 EA and 30 EA) during the packing function ( Manual Packing) or it will create two WT at the time of final putaway ?

Also I am not clear why there are different condition type for different processes ? I can use the same condition for palletization and inbound process but not sure why different conditions are provided here , I would appreciate if you can help me to understand this..

POSC setting to create WTs automatically to putaway remaining qty from pick point to original bin

Hello,

 

In Layout oriented storage control for out bound process, I removed the HU at intermediate storage type as pick point and removed partial qty as per the OBD and completed whole process. This is OK as per the POSC setting. Now my original HU iwith remaining qty is still at pick point. I need to place it at original storage bin. I can easily do it with manually with WPT 9999. But if I want that, system should create  warehouse task automatically from ID point  remaining qty in original HU to original storage type-BIn. Is there any setting for this?  In other word, how can I configure the system to create 3rd  task automatically to put away remaining qty from pick point area to original storage bin of product?

ECC to EWM connection issue in IDES

Hi,


I am facing an ECC to EWM connection issue in IDES environment wherein both Inbound delivery and outbound delivery documents from ECC are not reaching to EWM. From ECC, the message shows these delivery documents are distributed to EWM but in EWM, in SMQ2 t.code, an error message  “The running application consciously caused an abort with short dump”  is displayed.


From ST22 dump analysis, it shows  an error message “Support package level not sufficient. See note 1600482”. I also referred this note. It is recommending to install a support package. It is pointing  to the patch SAPKNA7026 . In IDES environment, it seems that we cannot install patches. Can you please help me how to fix this issue ?.


I am also attaching detailed ST22 dump. Please help.

Deliveries with Handling Unit

Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to set up an AII and an OER systems that are able to cater to deliveries that contain Handling Unit.  Do any of you have any idea how is this possible?  I'm not exactly sure but I'm guessing some kind of EWM add-on needs to be installed since there isn't any option to configure HU in AII and OER.  Thanks a lot for the help!

attempting a simple put away in ewm warehouse

Hi There,

 

I have defined the No. Ranges for EWM Whse, but while creating the Whse Tasks, it is giving error saying that the No. Ranges are not maintained.

 

Do we have to maintain Bin Access also while doing simple put away? Please find below all the screen shots.

 

It is showing source bin and destination bin, but Whse Tasks are not being created. Please suggest.

Need guidance to learn EWM

Hi,

I am trying to learn Extended Warehouse Management.

I have IDES Ehp4, ECC 6.0 system. I have activated the Business Framework for Extended Warehouse Management.

I have done those configurations necessary from ERP side.

 

What do I need to do to Install or activate SCM in ECC6.0?

 

This is because I found that all those transaction codes which starts with /SCWM/.... are SCM specific.

 

Those transaction code doesn't exist in my ECC system.

 

What additionally I have to do so that I can run it in IDES system?

RF screen in MC9190 , vertical scroll bar issue and button display issue in the screen

Hi All,

 

We are using Motorola MC9190 device and trying to use RF screens .

 

Initially layout issues were there but we tried to make width = 240 in the meta tags.So fields are appearing properly .

 

But push buttons always going down and every time user has to scroll the vertical bar. Even though lot of space available between last field and the buttons but still the buttons or messages are not shown at first glance.

 

Could any body help on this. How to remove the space or move the buttons up immediate to last field and also is there any way where we can hide the menu bar which comes down . Because while scrolling , user by mistake pressing menu bar icon .

tcode VL32N

Hi,

 

When i execute tcode VL32N - put inbound delivery number - Select pack - put packing material "pack_box" - enter some handling unit .. i get below errors.

 

 

When : handling unit - 0 - error "Handling unit 0 already in existence"

When : handling unit - 1 - error "The check digit of SSCC 1 is incorrect. 0 is correct"

When : handling unit - 9 - error "The check digit of SSCC 9 is incorrect. 0 is correct"

When : handling unit - 654 - error "The check digit of SSCC 654 is incorrect. 9 is correct"

 

Please help to remove these errors.

Error during the retrieval of the logon data stored in secure store ECC to EWM

     Hello guys,

 

I am trying to create a inbound delivery in ECC and send it to EWM. I have created the delivery. But the CIF is failed in SMQ2 in ECC. The queue status is "SYSFAIL". When i double click on the "SYSFAIL" work it gives me message "Function module  not found." Message - SR053.

When i checked ST22 for dumps- there is a dump created with runtime error - CALL_FUNCTION_NOT_FOUND and text Function module " " not found.

I checked SM58 - tRFc monitor - i can see the RED error message - Error during the retrieval of logon data stored in. Now the target system on this tRFC is WORKFLOW_LOCAL_800. 800 refers to my ECC client. When i double click on the client it takes me to SM59 and i get a message below saying - User password invalid for identifier /RFC/WORKFLOW_LOCAL_800 (see long text) SR128.

 

I ran SM59 transaction and expanded "Logical connections" folder and located partner WORKFLOW_LOCAL_800 (connection type L). When i click on change mode it doesnt take me to CHANGE mode but the partner details open in DISPLAY mode with message - User password invalid for identifier /RFC/WORKFLOW_LOCAL_800 (see long text) SR128.

 

In the logon and security tab the user set is WF-BATCH and password status is invalid. Now i can create a new password for WF-BATCH. But if SM59 doesn't open me in the change mode then how am i going to change the password for the partner ??

I have SAPALL and SAPNEW for my user iD.

 

Please provide suggestions. This is kind of freaking me out.

TCD- Unable to send Cross docking documents to EWM

Hi Experts,

 

I am working on TCD scenario with ref. to a Sales Order without Storage Control. I am able to get pair of documents created in ECC (Inbound Delivery and Outbound Delivery). But these documents not able to get distributed to EWM. SMQ2 show the following error.

 

Could not determine a supply chain unit for ERP warehouse number KS1

 

Message no./SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION018

Diagnosis

 

The delivery document from ERP contains a plant for which Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) cannot
find a corresponding supply chain unit.

System Response

 

EWM does not create an EWM delivery document.

 

Procedure

Define the missing supply chain unit. To do so, on the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Extended Warehouse Management -> Master Data -> /SCMB/SCUMAIN - Maintain Supply Chain Unit.

KS1 is my cross docking WH and this WH has SCU and maintained in above path and also has hierarchy maintained. As mentioned in error, Plant in delivery document is Plant1 (Supplying plant) and WH is Cross Docking WH.

 

Supplying plant has SCU maintained in EWM, otherwise my initial Outbound Delivery could not have got processed in EWM.

 

Please suggest what setting that I am missing.

Unable to pick material in RF

Hello Folks,

           For ODOs with atleast one text line item, when the picking is initiated with respect to warehouse order the picking goes into hanging state reason is for the text line item the DOC ID is not established so the query in the table /SCDL/DB_PROCI_O with ITEM ID is hanging.

 

Any suggestions for rectifying this...

Inventory document in Li15

I could see  Inventory record in Table LINV and LQUA.

There are material having different storage bin

 

There was requirement in which user can check Inventory record through Material number. So Tcode LI15 was suggested.

But after running the report we could get only one record for Line item 2 for 10 Pcs only.

 

Can you guide us why another line item number 3 was missing with reference to Quantity 5pcs.

In a TU , thereis a field 'Loading weight ' which shows the total weight of all HUs within it.Now what is the business use of field "Weighed Total Weight of Transportation Unit"[WTWTU]. Does that filed contain the sum of TU weight+All HU weights ??

Consumption of Packaging material during outbound delivery

Hi,

We want to address a requirement like this:

 

An outbound delivery is created in ERP against a STO. This delivery is distributed to EWM. The delivery items are picked and put in a 'box', the box represents a handling unit. When the PGI happens for this delivery, the stock of the 'box' should get reduced and consumption should be posted for the main item as well as  for the 'box'.

We are ok if the 'box' is picking relevant or not (either way we are ok), but the comsumption of the 'box' is a must. We need an automated solution  - manual addition of 'box' as a new line item in the outbound delivery will not solve my purpose.

 

 

Please suggest the best solution for this.
