OMT3R transaction in material master settings

Hello All

 

I am using OMT3R transaction to update the screen sequencing related to WM packaging& WM execution views after activating /SPE/MATERIAL_SCREENS BC sets.

 

OMT3R transaction which is used to sequence the views of material master - I found that this activity is not transport relevant; That means, do we have to do this independently in each client?


Please correct me if I am wrong.

Cannot Clear U-Zone

Hello all - We have an issue and hope you can help.  Someone (somehow) did not properly clear out a post change notice (t-code LU04) and instead use t-code LT01 movement type 999 to manually create transfer orders.  Now, we have a negative / positive quantities in interim storage type 922 u-zone.  We tried to clear the differences via LI21 but that did not work, we actually ticked off our accounting group posting a $500,000 inventory adjustment.  We were able to reverse the posting but we still have the issue.  We cannot transfer the positive quantity to the negative quantity... it only exacerbates the issue by increasing the negative quantity and positive quantity.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can clear up this issue? 

Post Inventory Document by Report in Background

I'm making the inventory process at this moment. Ocurred that I have several inventory document to do the POST,  but I would like to know if  is there some report where can I do the post in background ?

 

I said it because I have a lot of registers to process but when I select a block of register and there is some register with some inconsistence the process break and the good registers aren't processed.

Function Module not Found - Inbound Delivery not transmitted to EWM

Hi Experts,

 

I created inbound delivery but that was not transmitted to EWM, with inbound delivery number when i check in SMQ2 in ECC i found as function module not found.

 

please provide some solution.

No Wharehouse process type for goods issue

Dear experts,

 

when I'm doing the goods issue in EWM system, am expecting that this information will be transferred to ERP.

 

But in the inbound queues for ERP I see following:

These are the wharehouse tasks in EWM and they looks like this in EWM:

As you see there are no WharehouseProcType for these WTs...and when I try to create one in customizing

I miss the ProcessCategory (like postin of goods issue and inventory and so on):

Could you guys give me a tipp where I can create/customize other process categories?

Issue in Cartonization

Hi,

 

I have configured cartonization as per available standard documentation. Algorithm is set to WO creation and usage during Packing. Issue faced is the carton proposal is not working. The place of doubt is in WOCR. I tried in two ways:

 

a. I checked the "CAP compatibility", removed packing profile and maintained condition type 0CAP in packspec. WO created without proposing cartonization.

 

b. I checked the "CAP compatibility", maintained packing profile and condition type 0CAP in packspec, WO log throws an error "No packaging material is maintained for packing profile XXXX". Whereas 0CAP does not have provision for Packing proposal maintained in WOCR. I am not sure if condition record will help to determine.

 

Need help where am I going wrong.

Palletization : Load unitization after putaway task creation.

Hi EWM Gurus,

 

Scenario : Inbound with VAS.

 

We are doing Palletization at VAS work center. For this I hav maintained to pack specs one for Palletization and other for the VAS order.

 

1) Condition record 0VSI is used to for selection for pack spec for the VAS order.

2) Condition record 0DKS for palletization. Once the VAS order is confirmed through /SCWM/VASEXEC , using "Repack HU" which checks 0DKS condition record and selects the pack spec according to logical condition.

 

Requirement - I have activated putaway task split. For example an HU consist of 15 EA. Out of which putaway of 10 EA should be done to forward pick area and 5 to reserve. As per the pack spec one pallet can accommodate 15 qty. Whenever palletization is done before putaway it will create 1 HU with 15 qty and it will putaway to one reserve location. So I tried to empty the HU and use "create VAS WT" so that it will split the task to reserve and pick face (ref the below screen shot). My requirement is to to do palletization for 10 and 5 seperately after creation of putaway task.

Error while checking distribution document on inbound delivery

Hi Experts,

 

I am creating an inbound delivery using VL31N.

 

Now when I go to EDIT -> Check doc. distribution/distibuted document,

 

I get the following error :

Need your help in sorting this error. Please suggest if I am missing some config.

Use of Delivery Priority

Hi

 

I am trying to prioritize inbound deliveries. Can I use the delivery priority field in the Determine WPT Screen as shown below.?

And how is this delivery priority determined? Is it the same as the field in the Status and Shipping Conditions View at the Item Level in the Inbound Delivery Document?

adding stock to partially occupied bin

Hi All,

  Need advise to fulfill following scenario.

 

I am using putaway strategy I for stock placement. When I do GR and followed by TO bins are selected and stock moved correctly.

 

How can I place more than one batch in Bin if bin capacity is available.

 

Example

B1 - Capacity 200PC

B2 - Capacity 200PC

 

When I do GR for 100PC, It go to bin B1

GR again for another 100, system selecting bin B2 even there is space in B1.

 

Using putaway strategy I with capacity check 4

 

How can we control this. Please advise.

GR status from EWM not updated in ECC

Hi All,

 

I have a PO created in Jan and Putaway was done in EWM system and stock got updated in EWM system in Jan itself. However, now I see that GR status and stock were not updated in ECC. I checked for queues in both ECC and EWM systems, but the queue related to Inbound Delivery were not present.

 

So, I triggered PPF for Inbound Delivery in EWM system using t.code SPPFP and PPF was triggered successfully, however, GR status was still not updated in ECC.

 

When I check SLG1 in EWM it was successful (all in Green status with no errors) and I am not able to find SLG1 in ECC system. Moreover, I cannot find queues in ECC and EWM systems related to the Inbound Delivery.

 

Can someone help me on how to update stock in ECC? I know that I can run /SCWM/ERP_STOCKCHECK to update stock in ECC system, however, doing this will not update GR status in ECC PO which is why I am not doing this.

How to edit the EWM inbound delivery

Hi There,

 

We are currently manually create hte inbound delivery and pack the inbound delivery in ECC, then it will cif to EWM.

As it is manual creation, we may enter th wrong ASN reference number (external id), or pack the wrong qty.

 

But we can't edit the inbound delivery once transfer t EWM, can you let me know how I can update hte ASN reference number (external id),
We don't want to reject the original inbound delivery and create an new one again, as the manual packing cost a lot of time and easy to make mistake.

 

Any idea?

How can I make VL02N non-editable completely?

Hi Experts,

 

I have come accross a client requirement where I need to make VL02N non-editable when the shipment status is greater than 5, then all the delieveries assigned to shipment shoud be non-editable.

 

Can anyone please tell me any BADI, EXIT  etc where i can add the custom code  to achieve the same?

I have been trying but could not find anything of relevance.

How to change the system status of an inspection document created for Inspection object type 5 from QI01 to QI02?

Hello everybody,

 

I'm trying to configure a scenario in quality. So lets say that in my Inspection rule for a material "X" I've configured sampling by percentage. So if I've a lot size of 100 and my sampling percentage is 20%, then in my quality work center I'm giving decision for the 20 pieces.

 

But I would like to have the flexibility to be able to override this and do a 100 % inspection.

 

To achieve this, I have maintained a new decision code and follow up action for this functionality. The Warehouse Process Type in the follow up action of this decision links to another storage process with two steps, one for quality and one for putaway. The external step for quality has been linked to the inspection rule for IOT type 5.

 

This is ensuring the creation of the inspection document automatically, but when I try to give a decision, I get an error which says that the Inspection document cannot be processed in "Created" status.

 

The system status of this is QI01. I would like to know how to change it to QI02 to be able to process the inspection document.

Attribute Follow-Up Action in Consumer S was not set to D for sample or item

Hi.

 

When I'm trying to use follow up actions after giving decision in quality work center, the system is unable to process the follow up action which is an internal movement from source bin X to destination bin Y.

 

It is giving the error as shown in the screenshot below.

 

Please also find the screenshot of the long text for the error which may contain the possible solution.

 

Can someone explain how to fix this error? Or execute the action mentioned in the long text?

Auto confirmation of Transfer order (WMS)

Hi Experts,

   I am new to WMS need your advise on following items.

 

1. Is there any standard way to auto confirm transfer order.

 

2. If we block (putaway and removal) for storage bin with stock, MIGO still can issue stock. Any how TO can't be generated because of blocking.

     How can I control at MIGO posting itself.

 

3. My storage is separated as compacters, and each compacters has bins and belongs to same storage type.

When I do GR, TO, entire batch should go to bins in one compacter. i.e batch ca't be split between compacters.

 

Ex:

Compacter1  Compacter2 (defined as storage section)

     C1Bin1          C2Bin1

     C1Bin2          C2Bin2

     C1Bin3          C2Bin3

assume each bin has capacity of 100PC (i.e can hold 4 lots (4*25))

 

When I do

1. GR1 with 200 should go to C1bin1 and C1bin2 in Compacter 1

2. Gr2 with 200 should go to C2Bin1 and C2Bin2 in Compacter 2.

     Problem is system palces C1Bin3 100PC and C2Bin1 100PC.

 

Please advise.

Hi Experts,

 

we have a requirement in Inbound from production process  to post  goods receipt and create putaway task. The packing will be performed manually which should trigger GR and the create putaway tasks

Please provide pointers how this can be achieved?
