Dear EWM Gurus,
Is there a way we can create Inbound Delivery in EWM directly (without having an ERP system in place)?
I am having EWM system only and need to test few things around goods movement withing Warehouse and Yard activities.
I have tried to create ID directly in EWM in /SCWM/PRDI, it failed because VL60 from ERP will be called.
Same is the case with using EGR.
Is there a way I can trurn off all RFC calls made to ERP and proceed with Inbound Delivery creation in EWM alone?

Hi,
We are using ECC 6.0 and it is connected to the SCM 7.0.
We do use EWM funcationality and for that we need to update the two
tabs (MM01) i.e. WM Execution and WM Package.
We are unable to find these tabs in the MM01 while maintaining/creation of material (ECC).
Please do suggest what need to be done to acheive this.

In the RF Framework we use method set_ltrans (of class (/SCWM/CL_RF_BLL_SRVC) to dynamically jump between different logical transactions. However in this method the statement CALL TRANSACTION is called. Every time this is done a new gui session is opened. Therefore after the 6th or 7th call (depending on the actual setting of the system) the RF Framework stops with error message "Maximum number of internal sessions".
Can anyone please advise how to avoid this error? Is there an error in the above mentioned method?

from process and corresponding config in the system steps.
I have very basic question. need a detailed clarity.
When I am checking the document for ware house structure (from best business practices) I noticed rack storage for small parts.
Bin characteristics says 1 europallet per bin. Storage type characteristics says HU is not allowed.
If HU is not allowed for the storage type - how a pallet is placed in the storage bin?
to me both are contradictory statements. can any one throw some idea..

In RFUI, Im trying to add a new screen in Receiving HUs section.
For this I created a new screen in the Template and did the relevant config changes .
But I need to create a new Function module to add functionality for this new screen.
My question is : How do I create this new FM? Should I need to create a custom function group?
There is a standard function group . Do I need tro create the new FM here ?
Please suggest.

We are in EWM 9.0. In warehouse monitor bin stock available stock we are getting line items with -ve stock along with +ve stock items for the same material in the bin.
WHen we go to to the bin display /scwm/ls03 we get
There is physical stock in the bin and there is open warehouse task with the bin as the destination bin (inbound task)
What is the standard systembehaviour in this case and how to get rid of the -ve stock in warehouse monitor.

How to trigger two or three different smart-forms (which are triggered using different PPF actions) on to the same spool?
Suppose I have two ppf actions
1. triggers X smartform.
2 triggers Y smartform.
one after the other. Now the requirement is get the both into one spool. I know we can do by open-spool and close-spool. But I'm not looking for this solution.
Is there any specific configuraation with PPFs?

I have two storage location in plant 001 which is Door and 002 which is used to keep stock for Final Putaway.
I made a inbound Delivery with receiving Storage location 001 and distribute delivery in EWM System.
As soon as i did the Goods receipt at Door and there is no issue or error at EWM Side.
But if i check the log in ERP System, system give me error
I have using Process in which Material receive at Door -- Stag -- Repack into Pallet -- Pallet Storage Type.
There is 2 Availability Grp in EWM 001 and 002 corresponding to each SL.
For Storage Type P002, I have maintained 002 and for rest of intermediate there is no grp assigned to any Storage Type.

While working with the quantity classification I am facing the problem.
flow is
warehouse product 1 each is packed into packagaing material pallet with 30 each. HU type is Euro pallet.
I have maintained the packaging specification with one level and maintained quantity classifier as pallet (P).
in the storage type search sequence I have maintained search sequence with quantity classifier P and search sequence.
for the search sequnce I have maintained 3 storage types for example A,B,C.
the second storage type B is maintained with quantity classification as P.
I have maintained configuration optimize Access Strategy for Storage Type Search: Putaway with check box quantity classification.
for the received quantity of 30 from ERP I have packed the quantity.
when the task is created system is proposing the storage type A instead of storage type B.

our client's requirement is to PGI outbound delivery first due to some reason, and then scan HUs to load them into a TU. i know once you PGI loading status becomes Not relevant. is there a Badi or FM that can change loading status from Not relevant to loaded after HUs have been loaded to a TU.

Hello Experts ,
I have created IBN and completed the GR process in EWM. The system updated the status as Goods Receipt is completed.
However, when I checked in ECC , system is not updated the Stock Qty in ROD . Also I found that in Inbound Delivery Status , the Document status is showing like DWE - Blocked ( Error in ERP ) . What could be the reason ?
I have checked the outbound Queue . In that , its showing with my user ID one function module : /SCWM/BW_UPDATE_PRE_QRFC - Transaction Recorded status.
Do you have any Idea where need to be checked from functional or technical point of view ? Your response is appreciated

I have below scenario -
I have created Process order through COR1 & released it. Then raw materials are staged for production & required raw materials are available at storage type SBS. One of BOM component (Material A) is not subjected to backflush.
Now when I go to MIGO-Goods issue-Order--> system proposes me this Material A. And when material document is posted, system issues it from storage type SBS. This is OK as per process.
In another case, the Process Order has been confirmed. And now when user goes to MIGO-Goods Issue-Order --> system does not proposes this Material A. Than user adds it manually & posts the material document, system issues the material from storage type 914 in this case causing negative quantity in storage type 914.
Can you guide me, are there any settings to control picking of material from particular storage type based on process order status.

We have a trouble that our EWM key-user need a text information which written in inbound delivery(text site:goto--header--texts--warranties) of ECC, then the inbound delivery of ECC distribute to EWM via t-code vl06, the inbound delivery notification(IDN) and inbound delivery(ID) are created automatically via PPF, but there is nothing texts information in ID or IDN.
My question is how to get the text information in inbound delivery from ECC and display that text in ID in EWM.

so can we create batch directly on Inbound delivery in EWM system?
