Not Considering Interim Storage types for Auto TO creation..

Dear all,

 

We have quality management activated and doing transactions through QA32 & QAC2.

 

We have Interim Storage type-920 and Actual storage type-001. While receiving goods we receive in Interim zone there only we ctrate TO and confirm it.

 

At the time of QA32, Stock will be released to different stock types like Unrestircted(Mvt-321), Blocked(Mvt-350), Sample(Mvt-331), Scrap(Mvt-553).

Here same batch may split to two or three different stock types or partial quantity may issue to Sample or Scrap.

 

I am getting Posting change number for 321,350 and TR for 331,553.

 

Now stock may exist in Interim bin or actual bin.

 

But, While doing the above transactions, If i post stock to single stock type Auto TO created in background.

And if i post to different stock types of same batch/lot, Auto TO Not created in background.

 

And also if the stock is in Interim bins, Post change number not confirmed in background. where as, if stock is in actual bins, Auto TO created and confirmed.

 

And Through QAC2, if i transfer quality stock between different plants, system not considering interim stock for removal. Auto TO confirmation happened only if stock exist in actual bins.

 

I have maintained all required settings for Auto TO in Activities-transfers and in Interfaces also.

 

So, Below are my queries:

 

1. Auto TO creation and confirmation during Post change notice for different stock types of same batch/lot..??

 

2. How to consider Interim stock for getting Auto TO creation in background if we transfer quality stock from one plant to another plant..??

 

3. Does system consider interim storage stock while we transfer post or post change notice..??

In SAP EWM, is there any method to migrate Transportation Unit(TU, Transaction code: /SCMWM/TU) data from external sources like excel file?

 

Are there any functional modules/BAPIs available for this purpose?

material staging MF60

Hello gurus,

i have implemented the material staging via WM-PP interface using MF60.

I'm facing one problem: i need to create only one TO for all the material staged, but at the moment the system create one TO for each material, or sometimes group the material togheter. I 'm not able to understand the logic the system works.

Someone can help me please?

Warehouse Monitor - Need understanding on Physical Stock & Availability Stock

Hello Experts,

 

I need your help in getting understand of Physical Stock and Availability Stock in Warehouse Monitor. When does the stock details display in each.

 

I am aware that, Physical stock is the stock currently, which is inside the bin.

Available stock is the remaining stock that is left in the in after allocating to WTs (Open WTs).

I have couple of HUs, where available Qty of HU is 'X'. And when I see the HU, there is not product inside. HU is empty.

Couple of HUs, were displayed individually inside the bin. But, Some HUs as displaying it consolidated.

Here, there HUs, have Available Qty. And, when I display also, there is stock available.

Can you explain, how exactly it works? Any documents on this?

Migration of Physicl Inventory status from LE-WM to EWM

Hi Friends,



we have the requirement to migrate also Physical Inventory status; we count bins all the year in the old system and because of going live during the year we have to assure, that we do not count bins in EWM again when they have been counted in the old system; could you please check what we have to do in EWM migration to fulfill the requirement ???? Not the theoretical concept only actual realisation or step by step procedure would be ighly appreciated

Dear Members,

 

I am an ABAP er , trying to learn about SAP EWM . I am presently working in the project of FORD EWM BTR EU team.

When I came across availability group, it gives me very interesting sentences that I am not able to understand a bit .
Could any one please explain me , what is all about..!!

 

How the stock types are determined based on the availability group.
When any delivery is created might be inbound or outbound , why is it referring to the A.grp of WH process type.
Similarly during the put away of any product to the final storage bin, the AG is maintained based on the A.grp of storage type of that
bin.

 

How it is used to make the changes in EWM to be reflected in ERP. Is it mainly used for maintaining the stock type in ERP.
I am confused a bit. Please do explain me . Thanks in Advance.

HU/TU Loading compatibility

Dear Experts,

 

We need to find a solution in EWM standard for the below business scenario:

 

A Transportation Unit needs to be loaded with multiple Handling Units. But while loading HU to TU, we need to follow certain rules.

 

For example,

 

  • HUs of certain dimensions are not loadable at
    all in to a certain TUs
  • If we load a 2 X 2 FT HU to TU, then we can only
    load another 2 X 2 FT HU. Loading of 2 X 3 FT HU should not be allowed

   

Any thoughts on a possible solution are welcome.

Queue: MCEX11 destination is missing

   Dear Experts,

 

I got following situation; we are  trying to connect ERP system with EWM system and in term of transferring of the master data it works so far.

But as soon we try to transfer any movemenet data (deliveries e.g.) the same problem is comming up:

 

The Destination for queue MCEX11 (out queue from ERP system) is always NONE...

SAP PCo 2.3 and SAP EWM Integration

Hi Everyone,

 

I need your help in finding the final configuration part from SAP EWM side. Not able to find the solution anywhere.

 

We are trying to implementing the following solution:

 

GE MES Proficy(Historian)  -->  SAP Plant Conectivity 2.3  ---> SAP EWM

 

As per the steps mentioned in below mentioned link. I have done all the configuration and able to make the following connection:

  • Source System - GE MES Proficy Historian (Connection Successful)
  • Destination System– RFC Destination for SAP EWM (Connection Successful)
  • Define Agent– with Port Type SAP EWM RFC Server
  • Define Notification
  • Start the Agent successfully
  • Created the RFC Destination in SAP EWM via SM59
  • Test RFC Destination Connection– Successful

 

 

 

After the RFC Destination connection is successful, What configuration need to do in SAP EWM to handle/process the notification from SAP PCo 2.3.

Not able to process inbound delivery in ewm

Hello Friends,

 

I am not able to process inbound Delivery in EWM. Following errors were identified by using T.code: SLG1

 

1.Could not create header data delivery xxxxxxxxxx, system ERP_100

Diagnosis

Due to error messages, the system cannot create the header data for the delivery 0180000239 from system ERP_100.

 

2.Could not determine a supply chain unit for ERP warehouse number xxx.

Diagnosis

The delivery document from ERP contains a plant for which Extended Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) cannot find a corresponding supply chain unit

 

I rechecked all my setting but i am not able to resolve the issue. Please advice me what needs to be done in order to resolve this issue.

Kit to stock: How does the delivery look like?

Dear Experts,

 

Till now, every standard EWM explanation I came across, showed me an outbound delivery which are useful the Kit to Order scenario. In that scenario we take the BOM as an Item, and then automatically sub-items appear which are pickable.

 

After Kit to Stock scenario, I have a single header item on stock, but from the sales BOM, in the delivery I still have the pickable items, and the header item is not pickable.

 

I have an idea to use Tx OVLP on ERP side, and set pick relevancy for the header item, and not for the subitems. Is that the standard way how the Kit to Stock scenario works?

Dear experts,

 

i distribute outbound deliveries from ERP to EWM and as i look into 'SMQ2' there is a message with the following problem:

Do you have any idea what configuration (maybe customizing) is missing ? or maybe which configuration in our supply chain unit is necessary ?

Unpack the HU

Hello Experts ,

 

We have one issue that the HU is packed ( /SCWM/PACK ) and completed. But now we need to split that HU in to different HU's .

 

The HU is not coming from ECC.

 

Do you have any Idea ? system is giving error that the HU is not possible to change .
